Chapter 14

Chapter Summary

Chapter 14 covers the role of scientific research on manager’s decision, bearing in mind that, the success or lack of success of an organization lies on the quality of decisions been made by managers. We also saw that scientific research aids managers in calculating risk, weighing alternative decision and problem solving with objective. It’s also not proper to conclude that all decisions made as a result of scientific research is correct.

 

For manager to take a good decision, the manager should have carefully weight various recommendations, thoroughly understood and use findings of research and also bring experience to play.
